CUT LENGTH FABRICS 2026 SPRING & SUMMER

"ORDER JOURNEY" is a series that introduces memorable stories we encounter while guiding our customers every day. This time, we will introduce the "kimono-bun fabric" owned by IGARASHI TROUSERS, which only requires enough fabric for one garment, meaning that it can be used to make just one pair of trousers.
Depending on the width of the fabric, approximately 1.5-1.8 meters of fabric is required to make a pair of trousers. Approximately 2.3-2.6 meters of fabric is required to make a jacket. In the world of custom men's fabric, orders are generally made for jackets and suits. For this reason, 50 meters of raw material are cut for each order and shipped to the factory.
Fabric used in ready-to-wear and collections by maison brands almost always has a "little bit" left over. If there is enough fabric for one jacket, it will be used to make another main jacket for the collection. As a result, most of the fabric left over will be less than 2 meters. This is where trouser brands come in. Considering the amount of fabric needed for trousers, 2 meters is sufficient.
At IGARASHI TROUSERS, we purchase such high-quality fabrics that have no other destination and fabrics that are normally hard to come by every season. These are not unsold or unpopular fabrics that are left as deadstock. All fabrics have their own story and are IGARASHI TROUSERS' clothing fabrics. We have a selection of fabrics that will have you spending hours wondering, "What kind of products could have been made with this fabric?"
FOX BROTHERS / FOX AIR Blue Gray Glen Check
"FOX AIR," the pride of the prestigious British brand Fox Brothers, is a fresco fabric perfect for spring and summer, made with tightly twisted yarn for excellent breathability and wrinkle resistance. While glen plaid is traditionally made up of monotone black and white, the greatest feature of this fabric is that it is woven with white and blue threads.
The cool-toned check pattern maintains a classic style while exuding a sophisticated, urban air. The exquisite blue-gray tones will add a refreshing intellectual touch to your spring and summer outfits when paired with a navy jacket or even a simple white shirt.
ERMENEGILDO ZGNA / BIELMONTE Beige
Zegna's Bielmonte is a highly sustainable material made from wool from sheep raised in the company's Oasi Zegna nature reserve. Its firm, resilient, and "hard-touch" texture sets it apart from the smoothness and sheen typical of Italian fabrics, overturning the image of Zegna to date.
This dry texture makes it possible to keep the creases beautifully and for a long time when tailored into trousers. The calm beige color is highly versatile, and it will show off a rich look when combined with different materials such as silk-blend knitwear and linen jackets.
VBC / 4PLY Charcoal Gray
The 4PLY 360 Anniversary was created to commemorate the 360th anniversary of Vitale Barberis Canonico (VBC). Woven from four strands of yarn twisted together, this fabric has an overwhelming sense of weight and durability, which is the complete opposite of the current lightweight trend.
The weight you feel the moment you pick them up promises beautiful draping and durability that will not lose its shape when finished. The stoic charcoal gray color accentuates the three-dimensional weave unique to 4PLY, creating a sturdy and sturdy pair of trousers worthy of being called a lifetime piece.
LORO PIANA / ZELANDER Ivory
Loro Piana's "Zilander" is a functional collection made from carefully selected New Zealand merino wool, achieving high elasticity and durability. The matte texture with a subdued sheen exudes the elegance that is characteristic of Loro Piana, and it stays dry and comfortable even in the sweaty seasons of spring and summer.
The ivory color is particularly noteworthy. With an exquisite weight of 270g per square meter, it reduces the transparency that is common with white pants, while still giving a clean impression that stands out in the spring and summer sunlight. From the classic style of pairing it with a navy blazer to tone-on-tone combinations of similar colors, it is perfect for styling that exudes a sophisticated, sophisticated style.
W.BILL / IRISH LINEN NAVY GREEN
This fabric, delivered from W Bill, the holy land of Irish linen, appears to have a deep, dark tone at first glance, but is actually made up of two different colors of yarn: navy and green. Depending on the light and angle, the navy appears stronger and the green appears more prominent, creating a depth of color that can never be expressed with a single color.
The thick, sturdy texture of Irish linen will conform to your body the more you wear them, aging in a unique way. Linen pants tend to have a casual feel, but this sexy color will elevate your casual wear with its dress-like tailoring.
REID & TAYLOR Light Gray
We received a stunning fabric from Reid & Taylor, a Scottish treasure founded in 1830. It's a luxurious blend of rare materials: 50% Escorial wool and 50% mohair. The light gray color exudes elegance, with a multi-hued feel, typical of the brand, which draws inspiration from jewels and paintings.
The overwhelming softness of Escorial, known as the "royal family of sheep," and the beautiful luster and dry coolness of mohair are characteristic of this fabric. These opposing elements are so beautifully harmonious that it is rare to find such a fabric on the market. Combining the finest feel with a sharp look, this is a truly treasured piece that can only be found at "Kibun."
We have briefly introduced them above, but each fabric has its own unique story. By actually touching them, you can see the unique charm of each fabric more clearly. Please come to our store to see for more details.
