The perfection and importance of fitting

"ORDER JOURNEY" is a series that introduces memorable stories we have encountered while guiding customers around on a daily basis. This time, we will focus on the "basting" process, one of the important processes in BESPOKE, and introduce the attention to detail at IGARASHI TROUSERS and the moment of change that customers experience.
In this first episode of the ORDER JOURNEY, we will introduce you to the "fitting." The customer who cooperated with us this time experienced her first fitting at IGARASHI TROUSERS. The fitting is a process that takes place approximately two months after the BESPOKE order, when the garment is about 70% complete, and involves fitting again. A pattern is drawn based on the measurements taken at the time of ordering, the fitting product is sewn, and then measurements and adjustments are taken again to further improve the precision of the finished product.
The initial measurement process is crucial to achieving a high level of perfection at the fitting stage. The perfection of the fitting depends on how accurate and detailed the measurements can be taken the first time. We believe that a high level of perfection in the fitting will lead to customer satisfaction and excitement.
The customer who cooperated with us this time was surprised when he tried on the fitting and said, "My bow legs are no longer visible..." *The appearance and texture of the creases will vary depending on the fabric you choose.
The fitting process takes longer than regular MTM (Made to Measure). However, this allows us to carefully address any concerns you may have, such as wrinkles or discomfort. We spare no time or effort in tailoring each pair of trousers to achieve the ideal shape. This is the manufacturing process at IGARASHI TROUSERS.
The next episode will be "ONE DAY OF RTW" on Saturday, November 22nd. We will be talking about the new 2025 AW RTW collection. Please look forward to it.
