Model features
- 2024 1st collection “Urlandshaft” The German word that gave rise to the Japanese expression “genfukei” (original landscape).
- This RTW collection was inspired by the natural scenery of Yamanashi, where IGARASHI TROUSERS is based, and was created by imagining the outfits of people who travel in search of nature.
- This model was created with the image of an early morning stroll through a misty forest on a travel destination surrounded by rich nature.
- The fabric we selected is a moss green fine ribbed summer corduroy.
- The appearance of corduroy changes depending on the direction of the hair, but instead of the typical reverse-haired style, we cut it with parallel hair that has a glossy finish and appears light in color, and when stroked from above it makes it smooth.
- The subtle, random sheen that appears along the creases and wrinkles, and the shading of color, express the colors of a forest visible in a hazy landscape.
- We have adopted the Hollywood top, which has no waist belt and the body extends directly to the waist.
- By eliminating the core waist belt part, you can feel the softness around your waist. Combined with the brushed material, it gives a relaxed impression without any stiffness.
- The shorts feature two pleats and a moderately wide hem. They are casual shorts that you can wear, but they are still designed with a classic look.
- Although the material has a casual feel, the length is just right for comfortable wear as relaxed wear for adults, and the hem is double-finished as standard.
- It goes well with the optional D-ring belt made of the same material as the garment, as well as narrow leather belts.

- The D-ring is made of brass. As you use it, it will gradually oxidize and become duller, allowing you to enjoy the changes in its appearance over time.
- The belts are made to fit the waist measurements of each size and are slightly longer, allowing you to enjoy a variety of styles, such as letting the ends hang down or wrapping them around the garment.
Fabric
- Summer corduroy is used, which has a different appeal from winter corduroy and is characterized by its thin ridges and light weight.
- The smooth texture of this fabric keeps it from clinging to your skin even in hot weather, making it comfortable to wear. It is also highly durable, making it an ideal material for everyday use.
- The fabric is cut with parallel hair that makes it smooth when stroked from above, rather than with reverse hair which generally makes the colour look darker. This creates a random sheen as the light reflects off the fabric, and stylishly highlights the wrinkles that develop as the fabric moves.
- The moss green color, inspired by the color of trees, is an easy-to-use color that blends in not only in nature but also in the city.
- The fabric itself has a slight stretch.
