- Since its founding in 2014, the company has been specializing in making made-to-order trousers for over 10 years, and this garment is made based on the experience, technology, and pattern data it has acquired. Despite being ready-made, this garment allows you to experience the quality of made-to-order clothing.
- "RTW ATELIER MADE" is produced in limited quantities by craftsmen at our atelier and headquarters in Yamanashi Prefecture, who mainly sew made-to-order trousers. This is a ready-to-wear line that is made possible because of our in-house production, making full use of the sewing techniques and ironing work of BESPOKE, the highest-end line of IGARASHI TROUSERS, even though it is machine-made.
- Unlike a tailored jacket, which can create a beautiful silhouette with three-dimensional interlining and ironing work, trousers do not have interlining in most areas, so in order to create a three-dimensional, beautiful silhouette that fits the body, it is essential to tuck in the waist and iron work in various places. This is a piece that has been made with the skill and effort that can only be achieved by producing it in our own atelier.
- The pattern uses the 02 tapered silhouette, which has been updated to a new model from fall 2024. The rise, knee and hem widths have been adjusted to better suit modern sensibilities, and the details have been adjusted to fit better when worn than ever before.
- The trousers made by IGARASHI TROUSERS are characterized by the fact that when viewed from the front, they look slimmer and more stylish than their actual measurements. In other words, they are comfortable to wear with ample room, and at the same time, they make your legs look slimmer and more stylish, which seems to be contradictory at first glance.
- The design is classic and sporty with two out-pleats.
- The permanent crease design with machine stitching at the center crease means there's no need to worry about the crease coming loose, and it maintains the same neat style as if it had just been pressed.
- Made from a luxurious stretch material that at first glance looks like 100% wool, this is the perfect piece for business situations where you're constantly on the move, or for days off when you want to dress up but still relax. This piece combines the best aspects of functional materials and classic, well-tailored trousers.
- With belt loops and a long extension, this design can be worn with or without a belt. Even when worn without a belt, the long extension at the front creates a balanced look, so you won't feel like you're not wearing a belt. You can wear them in business situations where you need a belt, or on holidays when you want to relax without a belt.
- The distinctive long front flap is not only a design element, but also improves the fit by overlapping around the waist like an obi.
- The side pockets are slanted, which is the most common choice for custom orders. They are easy to put your hands in and out of, and because they are aligned with the two pleats, they look well-balanced and stylish.
- Hip pockets are only on the right side, which is the style of IGARASHI TROUSERS. This is because when ordering, only the hip pockets that will actually be used are attached, and since it is common to only use one side, this idea is reflected in the ready-to-wear garments.
- The front has a zipper for easy on and off.
- After the initial stock is sold out, sizes 42 to 54 will be made to order.
Fabric
- Made with wool blend stretch material from a domestic manufacturer.
- The warp thread is a polyester/wool blend, and the weft thread is a viscose/polyester blend, both covered with polyester. It has a dry feel and a supple texture thanks to the viscose (a type of rayon).
- Although it looks like grey wool, it stretches vertically and horizontally, so it doesn't restrict movement and is very comfortable to wear.
- The fabric has excellent resilience and easily returns to its original shape even after stretching. There is little risk of deformation or wrinkles, so you can wear it all day and still keep it in good condition.
- Another attractive feature is that it is easier to care for than regular wool materials. If you notice any wrinkles, you can easily care for it by simply applying a steam iron lightly.
- It looks like wool and is a basic gray color, so it is recommended for use in business situations. The dry texture with a subdued sheen also goes well with casual items, making it useful as relaxing wear or travel wear on the weekends.
- The fabric itself is stretchable (vertically and horizontally).
