- Since its founding in 2014, the company has been specializing in making made-to-order trousers for over 10 years, and this garment is made based on the experience, technology, and pattern data it has acquired. Despite being ready-made, this garment allows you to experience the quality of made-to-order clothing.
- "RTW ATELIER MADE" is produced in limited quantities by craftsmen at our atelier and headquarters in Yamanashi Prefecture, who mainly sew made-to-order trousers. This is a ready-to-wear line that is made possible because of our in-house production, making full use of the sewing techniques and ironing work of BESPOKE, the highest-end line of IGARASHI TROUSERS, even though it is machine-made.
- Unlike a tailored jacket, which can create a beautiful silhouette with three-dimensional interlining and ironing work, trousers do not have interlining in most areas, so in order to create a three-dimensional, beautiful silhouette that fits the body, it is essential to tuck in the waist and iron work in various places. This is a piece that has been made with the skill and effort that can only be achieved by producing it in our own atelier.
- The pattern uses the 02 tapered silhouette, which has been updated to a new model from fall 2024. The rise, knee and hem widths have been adjusted to better suit modern sensibilities, and the details have been adjusted to fit better when worn than ever before.
- The trousers made by IGARASHI TROUSERS are characterized by the fact that when viewed from the front, they look slimmer and more stylish than their actual measurements. In other words, they are comfortable to wear with ample room, and at the same time, they make your legs look slimmer and more stylish, which seems to be contradictory at first glance.
- The design is a two-pleat style that IGARASHI TROUSERS is good at. It is difficult to create a well-balanced look with the pleats, but we have designed it with a golden balance based on our extensive experience as a specialist in trousers.
- The side adjuster allows you to adjust the waist by about -4.0cm in total. Since our founding, we have adopted the most popular side adjuster design for wool trousers.
- The distinctive long front flap is not only a design element, but also overlaps the waist like a sash to improve the fit. The flap can be secured in place by passing it through the single loop to prevent it from getting in the way.
- The side pockets are slanted, which is the most common choice for custom orders. They are easy to put your hands in and out of, and because they are aligned with the two pleats, they look well-balanced and stylish.
- Hip pockets are only on the right side, which is the style of IGARASHI TROUSERS. This is because when ordering, only the hip pockets that will actually be used are attached, and since many people only use one side, this idea is reflected in ready-made clothes as well.
Fabric
- Made with wool from VITALE BARBERIS CANONICO, a prestigious mill in Biella, Italy, founded in 1936. The manufacturer has been supported by tailors and luxury apparel brands around the world for many years for its high quality.
- The Biella region is the only region in Italy with soft water, which is suitable for dyeing, and the factory was built there. The delicate coloring of the fabrics is also a feature of this region.
- The fabric, which was previously well-received as a factory-made item, has now been adapted into a new pattern, the 02-type tapered silhouette, and created as an atelier-made item.
- We selected charcoal gray, which goes well with a variety of colors and patterns, has a calm impression, and is easy to wear for both business and casual occasions.
- VITALE BARBERIS CANONICO's commitment to quality has resulted in a 100% wool garment with natural stretch without the use of chemical fibers. It is supple and naturally follows the movements of your body, providing a comfortable fit.
- 2-ply wool is made by tightly twisting two strands of raw wool together to make a single thread, which is then woven into a fabric that is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and has a firm, resilient texture.
- The plain weave allows for good ventilation, and the light, airy feel makes it a perfect staple item for dress styles in the warmer months.
- It has a smooth, dry touch and doesn't stick to the skin, making it comfortable to wear even in warm weather.
