Model features
- "DREAMBOAT" American culture had a major impact on young people in the UK in the 1950s. The theme for this project was "DREAMBOAT," a coined word that represents the ideal image of a man and the movie stars who were at the heart of American culture and the objects of admiration.
- It evokes the image of the people living in a British port town in an era of cultural exchange, and the style that was born there, unconstrained by nationality.
- While based on classic styles, we combine elements of clothing from various countries and throughout history to create a new piece through our own filter. This collection embodies the IGARASHI TROUSERS way of thinking when it comes to clothing creation.
- Hollywood Top Trousers were named after the fashion that was popular in Hollywood, USA in the 1930s. This design was adopted from IGARASHI TROUSERS' collection theme for this season, "DREAMBOAT". The Hollywood Top does not have a waist belt, and the fabric of the body is used lavishly up to the waist, and the belt loops are attached slightly below the top edge.
- The fabric has been selected to have a classic and casual color and pattern, while still being a dressy design. It goes well with jackets, and is easy to balance with casual blousons for everyday use.
- The fabric has a fine brown houndstooth pattern. From a distance, the dark brown color is easy to use and the pattern is fine, so it is not too bold and can be used almost as if it were a solid color. The houndstooth pattern is modest and adds a touch of elegance to casual outfits.
- The loose, straight silhouette does not show off the lines of your legs too much, making them look long and straight. The moderate amount of room also creates a beautiful drape when you move.
- Based on the straight silhouette pattern, a new pattern has been created as a special design just for this occasion.
- The design features two out pleats, a diagonal pocket, and a pith pocket on the right side only. The front also features a classic button fly.
- The design goes well with slim leather belts and ring belts. A 2.0cm wide D-ring belt made from the same material can be attached as an optional accessory.
Fabric
- The flannel is made by Marling & Evans, a manufacturer founded in Stroud, southwest England in 1782, that specializes in spinning, weaving and finishing.
- The company's flannel fabrics were used in the interiors of Rolls Royce cars in the 1920s, making it a much talked about manufacturer with a long history and a high reputation.
- A houndstooth pattern made up of brown and dark brown that is not flashy and is easy to use. Although it is a patterned fabric, the calm colors make it easy to coordinate with other items.
- It is a well-balanced flannel fabric that is not too heavy, has a soft and supple touch, and is easy to use. It is also durable enough to be used for a long time.
- The fabric has a firmness that makes it look great when tailored and a suppleness that creates beautiful drape, further enhancing the presence of the Hollywood Top design.
- The fabric itself has a slight stretch.
